On the day’s that we did teach, things went well. Tuesday we taught on Jesus’ miracles of healing the sick and casting out evil spirits. This proved to be a very thought-provoking lesson for those that attended. These topics are very important in Mwinika culture.
On Wednesday, because of the community meetings, we didn’t think many people would come to the teaching. We decided to just do a review lesson. As soon as we started the review lesson people flooded in, more than we usually have attending, including several people who attended for the first time. We praise the Lord that He had us doing a review lesson and by His grace it ended up being a very profitable time. People were able to ask questions and we answered as many as we could (without getting ahead of ourselves in terms of what we have already taught). We were able to set things up well for the next lesson on Nicodemus and what it means to be born again.
Thursday we had a very good crowd and we were able to teach on the meaning of being born again. It was good to be able to start to tie together some of the key themes we have been teaching all along. People seem to be tracking well and we trust that interest will continue to grow.
