This weekend we were able to take the kids to the Florida State Fair. With lots of rides and exhibits they loved it. After our visit to the fair we were able to visit other friends in the area and visit with one of our supporting churches on Sunday.
Phil and I were able to get away for a day or two to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We went to nice Lodge in Leavenworth WA. Leavenworth is such a cute little Bavarian town with streets of tiny shops and lots of German restaurants. Here I am in front of an all-year Christmas store!
We took a trip up to British Columbia in Canada and spent a day skiing with Phil’s aunt. We all took lessons (different levels) and improved greatly in a short period of time. Granted the kids and I never made it off on the bunny slope but we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks, Aunt Betty!! 🙂
After being there a few days it began to snow. Elias gave my dad a hand plowing the road! No small job considering the steep hill and the hairpin turns. You should have seen us trying to make it up even after it was plowed!
