Christmas in Georgia

December 27, 2012 by Promise Vaughan

My amazing family
For seven days, I had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with my family in Georgia. We also celebrated being together as family. As I’ve reflected on time with family, here are some things I’ve been thanking God for:
*Growing up in a family where God’s Word was valued.
*Memorizing God’s Word as a family.
*Early morning Bible reading before Dad went to work.
*Parents who actively served God and took my sisters and I along to serve with them–I think Awana is a family favorite ministry.
*Mom taking my sisters and I to have lunch with Dad at work as a special treat. (This was such a nice memory, Rachel and I just did this again–Subway and chocolate chip cookies).
*A family that loved reading (only downside is when someone else starts reading a book you haven’t finished).
…These are just a few, but thanks for letting me share about my amazing family.

I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas!
