The month has flown by!
Going to work?
The photo above are the Tala Andig people heading to their fields in the morning. We’re working on a testimony from a Tala Andig teen, and a couple other short videos are in the works!
Birth of a new church
You can pray too for the Biem people who are culminating several weeks of hearing God’s Word tonight (Friday). They will hear in their own language about Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. Pray for the missionaries’ strength and the people’s understanding.
October: Ministry Partnership Travels
It’s missions conference time in Indiana, and I’ll also be visiting Michigan for a short time. Please pray that I will be able to get all my preparations together and that I will be a blessing and encouragement.
Broken Chainsaws
The Hewa have a small group of believers, and a new missionary family is moving into the tribe to continue discipleship.
Can you imagine clearing stumps and roots for a house, and breaking your chainsaw in the middle of the jungle? Needless to say, the missionaries were thankful for the team helping them.
Together you and I are building a house too – made of living stones! Teamwork, time, effort, and lots of little jobs…all necessary to see tribal believers become more like Christ, functioning in a mature church. The tools we make in NTM Communications help glue the team together. Thanks for standing with me and praying for these unreached people groups. We reached a new tribe every 50 days last year. PTL!
