Phone Systems Project
Praise that the phone and Teams voice systems were installed. This project took many months as it was carried out across four different locations. The last three were at the Aviation center in AZ, the training center in MO, and at the US Home Office.
There was a lot of communication with vendors and internally to manage and switch everything from the old to the new system. Now there is a single platform to mange phones and all the US locations can communicate more effectively through the online Microsoft suite.
IT Director Neil said: “I’m really proud of the team that worked collaboratively through this effort – because we have been talking about this project for a long time. It’s huge to be on the opposite side of that now – that we did complete that effort, that we did complete that project, that it is was a success. People have acclimated pretty well to the whole new system and the way it’s [functioning].”
Scott’s team met to celebrate accomplishments of the past months. Scott was recognized for his contribution as Function Lead on the Home Office Teams Voice Project.
Video Team
In Communications we have a team member coming back to our department to work with video. This is very exciting to move forward in video production. Pray that the team will have wisdom in developing a podcast project. Regina is going to assist with editing a video from a Bible translation. Pray that she will have some good ideas. It is challenging to find a story after the fact of filming, but we are excited to have the footage to be able to take a look at it.
Isaiah Daniel
We were planning to announce our new baby after we found out the gender, but the baby passed away at 16 weeks. We ironically still found out the gender at 20 weeks! We named the baby Isaiah Daniel. Isaiah means “God is salvation” and represents the hope we have of the resurrection. Daniel represents the theme of God’s sovereignty that can be seen throughout the book of Daniel. We definitely felt God’s peace as we walked through the miscarriage and saw his care in many details especially as everything for the induction went the best possible way it could go. Thanks to everyone who prayed for us.
22 Akolet believers were baptized in 2012.

Today Akolet Bible teachers travel several times a year
to different areas to receive training and equipping
for them to better lead the Akolet church.
Celebrations and Losses
Adam and Julie Martin, currently serving from the USA, are Bible translators for the Akolet people of Papua New Guinea. “[Earlier this fall], two different small groups of Akolet people who were hearing the evangelistic teaching … have heard the gospel and have placed their faith in Christ’s finished work on their behalf. Please rejoice with us!” Pray that these new Akolet believers would continue to study and learn from God’s Word.
In October, the Martins tragically lost their home in a house fire. Pray that God would meet their needs. Praise God that their hard drive with the “vast majority of our Bible translation work” was restored.

>Advancement: Pray for wisdom and teamwork for the podcast project to go forward
>Advancement: Pray that Regina will have good story development ideas for the Bible translation video footage.
