EXCITING NEWS ABOUT THE MALAUMANDA
Missionaries and tribal believers have been teaching the Firm Foundations evangelistic lessons in a neighboring Malaumanda village for about 6 weeks. Before the last lessons were complete, the man who invited the team asked to hear the end of the lessons. And he became the first believer of 55 people that have been attending! And since completing lessons about Jesus resurrection, 35 people have given a clear testimony of belief so far. Food is starting to get scarce in the village, and missionaries will be hiking home through the rainy jungle for 1 1/2 days (one even lost his voice!) to return to the main village. Praise God for the work he is doing in hearts through this outreach. Thanks for participating through your prayers!
VISION VIDEO – ON TO EDITING!
I’m recovering from a cold that started last week, but we still filmed our CEO, Larry Brown, on Tuesday and Wednesday evening in the New Tribes Mission lobby until midnight each night! I provided a little humor with my tissues and sniffles, and tried not to record any coughing on the audio! =) Yet, all went well. Now I’m working on editing those video files, as well as finishing up a video about aviation, and distributing final versions of the Filipino national training center video and the French Below The Surface.
VOY A EL SALVADOR EN JULIO!
The Spanish ESL students were helping me learn how to say, “I am going to El Salvador in July!” My local church is sending a team of youth to San Salvador to assist missionaries with inner city ministry, and I’m going to be one of the leaders. I’ll let you know more about it next month, but for now please pray that God will give me time for preparations. I’d like to get to know the teen girls that are going, and see if there is any similar ministry in Orlando that I could help out with as I am unfamiliar with city ministries. God has gone before me with each step of deciding to join this two-week mission trip with my local church body.
