Isaac is here

For a few weeks, a colleague who works with media at the Missionary Training Center is here to connect with our department and build relationships.

Isaac is full of great creative ideas, and I’m super glad to have a few weeks to work with him!  Last year I even submitted a proposal to my bosses to go to the training center to work with Isaac for a couple months.  However, my bosses wanted to keep me in Florida, and I sure didn’t want to leave after I started dating Scott!  Now I’m really glad to have Isaac and Neena Smay here for a few weeks.

While Isaac’s here we were able to video a training sessions by Casey Short on persuasive storytelling principles and writing for different reader types.  This will be a good inhouse resource for new people joining our department to understand or review the concepts.  Editing is yet to come… =)
