Thank you for your prayer support for my meetings two weeks ago. I could see God’s hand in the details and praise Him for answered prayer.
Meetings went well, ended early!
Our meetings in June were productive. On Monday, we all came to agreement that we need to spend time in pre-production for this next video series, and not rush into it, praise the Lord! We have some amazing big picture ideas for our next projects; we’re all very excited. Macon Hare, Director of NTM Communications, is contacting three countries about filming, potentially as soon as the end of this year. Thanks for praying. Our meetings even ended early on Monday afternoon.
Connecting to the local body
Many churches have welcomed me as I visited different fellowships. I’ve attended one church the last few weeks. The women there share a bond of love, friendship and community, which is a joy to partake of. We are going through Philippians this summer in Sunday School.
I’ve also joined Revolution, a young professionals ministry, through another church. The only drawback is that both first church and the small group are about 30 minutes away, but everything is far here.
I’ve been blessed with new friendships in both these church settings. A few individuals have taken me in and befriended me. All it takes is one person to welcome a newbie and introduce him/her to other friends or a little bit of courage to introduce yourself and break the ice. Thanks for praying.
