Can We Do More of These?

That question is asked a number of times after we took the field trip last week. The day saw us travel about an hour away to visit some folks who serve their community by teaching English, computer skills, sewing and more. We had a catered ethnic lunch which the students loved! Then we visited a local assembly where we were able to meet with their Pastor and ask questions about their religion. It was very eye-opening and challenging. “The time passed way too quickly” said one of the students. We always run out of time reviewing what we have heard, trying to process the comments and worldview.  I got very good feedback about how interesting and beneficial the trip was. It is a blessing to be able to take these young people into another culture for the day…like taking a short term mission trip. Thanks for praying for us.
