WAYUMI Here We Come

April 24, 2010 by Rex and Shirley Schaffner

JS ClassroomThe week of April 25 will find our group of about 85 or so in the mountains of central PA. MorningsĀ students will be in the “Intro to Tribal Missions” class, hearing from two experienced tribal church planters. Afternoons will find them in a replica tribal village, interacting with a “Yanomami” woman and a “Joti” man, trying to discover words and investigating new cultures. It is quite the experience. If it sounds interesting, you can be a part of it with a group from your church. Check it out at http://www.ntm.org/missiontrips/wayumi.php.

We appreciate your prayers for safe travel and a great week together with the missionaries at WAYUMI, and that many of our students will see the possibilitites available throughout the world and be willing to take the Gospel to the un-reached. Thank you so much.
