In Loving Memory of Placida Generalao, Cirena’s Mother

Generalao went home to be with the Lord. She was born on October 5th, 1928 and so lived less than one month shy of her 80th birthday.

Mama Cida, as we affectionately called her, is survived by two daughters, Cirena & her sister Josephine Hollins of Albuquerque, NM, and two sons, Epifano & Dupong, both residing in the Philippines. She is also pre-deceased by two daughters and a son as well as her late husband Bienvendo. She also has numerous grand-children and great-grand-children, both in the United States and in the Philippines.

Placida, who for the past number of years has resided in Albuquerque, NM, passed away while visiting family and friends in the Philippines. This is a praise as she has always said that when she passed away she would like to be buried in the Philppines next to her husband.

Praise the Lord that we have been able to travel to the Philippines to be with family and friends at this time. We have been tremendously blessed by the outpouring of gifts and prayers from our friends in the United States and Canada for allowing this to happen. Please pray that we will continue to see the Lord provide for the remaining travel and funeral expences.
