The big highlight of 2013 thus far was having a surprise visit by Pastor Mark Ambrose and Dr. Bruce Camp from our home church in California. During their visit we traveled from one end of the city to the other gaining a broad view of what God is doing in keeping with Matt. 25:34-40. What a blessing to connect with Gods people as they fed the hungry, clothed the needy, and cared for the sick. The big picture we walked away with; we live in a very needy world and there is much work to be done.
Praise & Prayer:
1. Praise God for the time we had to spend with Pastor Mark & Bruce and for the privilege of learning more about the work God is doing right here in the city.
2. These past few months have involved a lot of travel to different parts of the Philippines. Pray for wisdom in dealing with some the different issues we have been confronted with.
3. Travel can also be very costly. One trip alone cost $300 plus to visit co-workers in a remote location. Please pray for God’s provision.
4. Praise God for the opportunity to reconnect with ministry at Manda Bible Christian. Cirena especially has had a very fruitful ministry with the ladies meeting once a week in our home.
5. Sheila Marie has finished another school year and we were especially blessed to see her receive the Christian Character award among her classmates.
