Keeping our neighbour’s four children while their parents were in Manila for a few days; preparing for our Annual Field Conference, doing a survey and having many guests join us for the Christmas week filled our hours during the month of December.
Ryan and Kara went into the Isnag tribe for 6 days to help with a few projects. They broke the record of days waiting for flyable weather to come out. With a total of 28 days in there Ryan was able to help with more projects than was originally planned!
The "needs list" for the island of Luzon continues to grow. Rocky recently went on a survey to the Ga’dang tribe. They found some very remote villages where the gospel has never been. The people were very friendly and would welcome a missionary, but at the moment we have no one to send there. We are praying that some of the new students would get excited about this work and that someday there would be a team among them. While he was surveying this area, he also heard about two other tribal groups that need to hear the good news of what Christ has done for them.
We had 44 guests join us on the flight center during the Christmas Season. The Lord blessed us with lots of hours of fun and fellowship and we did several activities together. Probably the most encouraging one was a walk around our neighbourhood, singing Christmas carols and sharing blankets with each home that we went to.
