Hi friends, here are some pictures from our service this Sunday. Our church service and setting will be a little different from yours but the same components of worship are all there. We have a fire, dogs and even sometimes pigs disturbing us. You will see what Noah normally get’s up to at a Sunday service, so pray for him and Nya to adjust to our church settings in the western world.
This Sunday we stopped our lessons in the book of Ephesians to take some time out to talk about some disagreements within the church. We tried to remind our believers about the right way to deal with problems and sin within the body. We also strengthened the truths from Ephesians, concerning how the church is supposed to operate as a family in Christ, love each other and support each other. Please pray for our young church that these truths would take root in there lives and that they would cry out to God for help.
A new Literacy class has started today.
Please be praying for all of the teachers and students and for our new trainee teacher Bobo! Please be praying for the students as they try hard to learn to read and right. They want to read God’s word and so please pray that they will be able to do that after these 18 weeks.
Please pray for Berta today, she has started to feel labor pains. She will be having the baby in her house without any medical assistance; this is normal practice, so please pray for safety for mom and baby. Berta started having contractions last night and hasn’t slept since, so it has already been a long labor, pray that delivery speeds up.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers and support, it is changing lives,
Much love in Christ,
Simon, Annika, Nya and Noah
