Karis needs your prayers

August 17, 2013 by Simon and Annika Flanagan

Hi friends,

Progress with Karis is slow. Even though she is going in the right direction we need you to pray.

Her oxygen levels have dipped every now and again and whilst we had hoped for her to come off her ventilator she is just not well enough yet.

It may be a longer road than we first thought.

1) Pray that more fluid will come off her lungs and stomach to enable her to breath better and get off her ventilation.

2) Pray she can be stable enough to be transferred out of the high dependency unit.

3) Pray her oxygen levels will stay high and stable.

4) Pray for energy for us and that we will walk with our good God.

5) Nya and Noah have to go to school in and nursery come Monday in Edinburgh, we aren’t sure how we can split our time between them and Karis. This is going to mean lots of travel and split time, pray for wisdom as we work this all out.

6) Unfortunately Karis has lay on her dummy through a night and it has caused a bruise on her back. Pray this will heal and not get infected. Her skin is more sensitive because of her circulation.

All of our trials have meaning and purpose! James 1:2-4

Thanks for your prayers,

Simon, Annika, Nya, Noah and Karis.
