First of all, we want to thank you, not only for praying but for letting us know that you were interceding. It has really warmed our hearts.
Just wanted to let you know that Dad’s triple bypass surgery went well. His heart started working much better right away, and his kidneys came out of the operation functioning better than before. The doctors say the dye from the angiogram did not do them any harm, so there’s no talk of needing dialysis, praise God.
The process of getting him ambulatory again is moving gradually. It took a day or so for him to be able to sit up, then from there to standing and taking a few steps — he’s not roaming the halls yet. But he has graduated from liquids to pureed foods.
My sister, Sandy, has been keeping us updated. She and her husband Lowell will return home to Georgia on Wednesday.
I will be flying to San Jose on Tuesday, God willing, thanks to the help of kind and generous friends, and I plan to stay there until April 15th. Eida will remain here in Leander overseeing the replacement of the tile flooring in our house. We’d appreciate your prayers for her.
Then the following week, I’m scheduled to go to the Ethnos360 home office in Florida for our annual Spanish Language Resources team meetings.
Thanks again for your prayer support and loving words of encouragement. May the Lord meet all your needs according to His riches in Glory,
Steve & Eida Irwin
