Same: The other day we had spaghetti and meat sauce for lunch. It came complete with a spaghetti claw (if that’s what you call the spoon thing you use to get spaghetti out of the pot with). The tomato sauce even had ground beef in it, which is the only time so far that I’ve seen ground beef in My Country. Oh, and we even had French bread to complete the meal! Different: The meat sauce also had big pieces of chicken in it and was cooked over a charcoal fire in the unattached kitchen. Same: Lots of people have smart phones. I even bought my own smart phone yesterday! Different: To get them to work, you have to insert a “puce.” I think that it’s like a SIM card. When I went to that store today they were out of them, so I’ll have to go to a different store on Saturday. That means that even though I have my phone I don’t have a phone number yet and can’t call or receive calls. Also, there is no monthly plan. You just buy “unités” and then you can use those minutes until they’re up.

Bruce has been working the last few days on a new cell phone package for us…maybe we should just buy “unites” too. You sound happy, our prayers are with you!
