On Sunday, November 3rd, there was a solar eclipse! Most of you in the US probably didn’t get to see it, but I thoroughly enjoyed my first solar eclipse. Many people here were afraid, though, and some even decided to lock themselves in the house for the day. On the TV it had said that if you looked at it you’d hurt your eyes. But it passed without incident and now people who were outside are laughing at how scared they were. I got ahold of a pair of special glasses to look at it and enjoyed watching the moon cross the sun, even though it didn’t get to be a full solar eclipse here.
