I am now the new owner of motorized transportation for the first time in my life! Here is my “moto,” which is the word here to refer to any kind of motorcycle, scooter, moped, etc. Mine happens to be a blue one. For you guys, it’s a Yamaha Crypton 07C. For you local people, it’s an original – that means that it’s actually a Yamaha and not a knock-off brand for half the price.
Someone said that My Country has the most motos per capita of any country in the world. I’m not sure if it’s true (and please contact me if you can either confirm or deny it, since I’m curious), but it very well could be. At church on a Sunday there are probably about 5 cars and upwards of 50 motos. If you go to the big market downtown there are hundreds of motos parked and I don’t even know where a car would park.
Anyway, now I’m among the owners of motos (which, in Jula, would be moto tigiw, for those of you who read my post about the word “tigi.” The “w” makes it plural.). I bought it without knowing how to ride it and left the next day on PGA trips. But since then I’ve had some practice, and today, for the first time, I rode somewhere because I actually needed to go there and not just for practice. And I even turned left!
