No one commented on my last post, but let me share with you the answers to the two riddles below.
The younger girl’s clothes were quite wrinkly and may have even been dirty (which is easy given all the dust around here). Hence they were like they had come out of the mouth of a donkey, an animal that is quite common here.
“12” means something like “ready.” A mango 12s when it is ripe. Food 12s when it is cooked and ready to eat. Young ladies and young men 12 when they are at the age and maturity level and ready to marry. Who knew? And no, they can’t 11. At least not that I know of yet . . .

Hey Susie…I read your blog for the first time today and just wanted you the know that you and your ministry and the people whom you serve for our Lord have been prayed for this morning from snowy and cold Missouri. In Him…John.

I told your mom this past week that I couldn’t even begin to venture to make a guess for an answer to either of those questions! We were truly stumped. I asked her if she knew the answers, and she said she was as clueless as I was. :). Love reading your blog and updates. Can’t wait to see your parents in person, and see all the photos.

I tried to think of a comment, but just wasn’t clever enough! Does it make sense that I am 12 for spring to come? XO to you Susie

Hi Anita — I think we are ALL 12 for spring to come 🙂

We’ve had spring all winter. 🙂
