Sunday was one of those days. I wasn’t feeling the best, so decided to take my temperature. The fact that I wasn’t feeling the best or decided to take my temperature wasn’t what made it one of those days, though. The fact that made it one of those days? When I took out my thermometer and turned it on, instead of saying “lo”, meaning that the temperature is too low to register and so I should put it in my mouth to take my temperature, it automatically started taking the temperature. Of the room. 92.5, if I remember right. And that was after the sun had gone down. By the time I had gone to bed, it was under 90 so not registering in my bedroom anymore, but still 92.0 in my kitchen. No wonder I wasn’t feeling the best. And I’m glad every day isn’t one of those days.
Have any of you ever had one of those days, when the thermometer you use to see if you have a temperature takes the temperature of the room as well?
