I have news on two fronts for Rachida, the little girl with retinoblastoma eye cancer!
First of all, she is still in another country with her grandma. I called her grandma today, and she said that there they are doing chemotherapy again, then after that they have a laser that they’ll use to remove the rest of the cancer so that she’ll be able to see again. Sounds like good news to me! The only problem is that I don’t know whether or not it’s actually true or will work. You can pray that it will actually work and that this little girl will receive her sight back!
On the US front, thanks so much for praying for the missionary doctor! She was able to see a retinoblastoma specialist and learn from him. She hasn’t been able to tell me all that he’s said yet, but she asks for wisdom as she digests what she’s heard and continues to do some more research. So please pray for wisdom, and thank God for her willingness to be so involved, too!
I’ll keep you updated. Thanks for being on this journey with us.
