The tinsel and lights are not up. The tree is not out of the suitcase yet. The presents are not wrapped. There is no snow on the ground. But at least I harvested the bananas so they’ll ripen for my parents when they come for Christmas, and I have a few mangos for an evening snack. It’s almost the same, right?
Bless you, Susie, as you prepare what you have for your Christmas celebration with your parents! It will be a joyful time, no matter what. I”m sure you look beyond this ‘tinsel’ that is at hand.
Blessings, Marie.
Enjoy your celebration of the mystery and wonder of a God who would come to earth to deliver his people, and all He asked of us to repent and believe! Hugs to your mom and dad. Love, Margaret
