Isn’t God amazing sometimes? Or, more accurately, isn’t God’s constant amazing-ness visible to us sometimes? It took me about a year to be able to visit the 19-20 main villages of our people group. But just now, in a period of only 10 days, I was able to stop and at least greet someone in 9 of those villages! Besides that, I was also able to greet people from at least 3 other villages, though I didn’t see them in their own village. Who knew that something that we tried so hard at for a year, now that those relationships are started, would be so easy now? Not that it’s necessarily easy to drive those crazy dirt roads and find the time to stop and sit down just to say hi, but it was fun to be able to know people in these villages that made it just natural to stop and say hi. Isn’t God good?
