It’s over. And by "it," I mean our winter. Sadly.
At least that’s what my language helper said after he came to greet me this evening. And it’s true – it’s not nearly as chilly as it was a week ago. I think that my one evening with a hoodie was the only one I’ll have this "winter" here. And my days of being able to sleep with a sheet on are also numbered. Even last night I could only have it on part of the night, even though my pjs were shorts and a sleeveless top.
For those of you with a long winter still before you, want to trade a bit? It’s now lows in the 60s and highs in the 90s. Yes, that’s winter here. (Though there are a few nights that it got down into the upper 50s I think.) Ahh, these wonderful winter days. Even with the pervasive dust I’ll take them over the heat that will soon be upon us!

You are in your house in your village now, right? I am wondering how little Rachida’s second surgery went. Love hearing your insights.

Wow….I know better than to say “lucky”, because I know how hot it gets there. Tempting to say it sounds good. Stay cool!
