Springing ahead in April 2008

April 7, 2008 by

Nate & Emily with G`pa & G`ma Peterson

Hi prayer partners,

Here in Alabama, Spring seems to be in the air, with daytime temperatures in the low 70s. We just participated in our Easter cantata, the week after Easter this year, since it dealt with the 40 days AFTER Easter, with a challenge to be faithful in sharing His resurrection power to all the world. And now Martha and I have even attended our first meeting in preparation for this summer’s VBS program.

This last month I have been able to finish the first rough draft of the translation into French of the key article: "Mature Church Model". This is a model that the New Tribes Field Ministries Department has developed to help all their church-planters know what their final goals are in each of the language groups where NTM works around the world. They now wanted this article available in French to become a tool for helping the African churches in West Africa who are asking how they, too, can be more effective in reaching out cross-culturally in missions.

See our Prayer & Praise items for this month under the link on the left.

By His enabling,
