Hi prayer partners,
We were so excited to see digital pictures of our 4th grandchild, Analise Rose Enns, born to Aaron & Ave’ on May 5th in Okinawa, Japan – while Aaron was (and is) still serving his country in a war zone.
The weathermen say that May is tornado-watch month. There was severe tornado damage just to the west of us, and more storms are expected in the next couple days. But the weather has been in the low 80’s and pleasant in between. Yesterday I helped a lady from the church weed out the undergrowth in a blueberry grove for a little while. This Afternoon I am sitting in Dad Peterson’s room, working on my laptop while Mom P visits with Dad for a couple hours, again. Martha and I take turns bringing Mom down here (about a 35-minute drive from home). Mom is living with us for now, and she is starting to be able to do more again.
We were asked to be the camp missionaries for June 22-27th, so I have been preparing and developing different angles of presenting missions to Middle School children, for a week of 1-hour sessions.
The missionary couple that visited Ivory Coast last month are finishing French study in France, and look forward to moving to Cote d’Ivoire in the Fall. Lesley Wolfe, their co-worker, will be moving into the Ivorian village this month already, Lord willing, to start back up with her Bible translation into the Glaro language.
See our Prayer & Praise items for this month under the "PRAY for real needs" link on the left.
