It’s a girl!
Naomi Violet Miller was born June 9th, at 1:38am. Mother (Heidi) and baby are doing great… so are Opa and Nana. 🙂 We have enjoyed being able to come to Idaho to wait for this little one with Mark, Heidi and their family. You see, waiting is one of the lessons the Lord is helping us learn these days – as we wait for our house to sell. (And thanks for all of you who are praying with us!)
The French Bible lessons I’m revising for the 330 Baptist Haiti Mission schools are going well. These lessons are written in French since, even though Creole is the language spoken in Haiti, everyone wants to get educated in French. So grade one students come to school to learn French. The challenge is to make the Bible lessons both age-appropriate, and easy for beginning-French speakers. I send each lesson to Haiti for proof-reading by teachers and pastors in Haiti. So you can see that getting a whole year’s worth of Bible lessons “processed” through four different stages and steps by this summer is an on-going prayer request.
PRAY:
1- For our house to sell soon so that we can move from Alabama to Florida.
2- For the proof-reading and checking of the grade one Bible lessons for Haiti to be finished in a timely fashion.
3- For the development of a school curriculum version of the Firm Foundation Bible lessons, in Florida.
PRAISE:
1- We are visiting our daughter, Mark & Heidi Miller’s, in north Idaho as we awaited our 7th grandchild, born June 9th.
2- We are able to continue revising the French Bible lessons for Haiti while we wait (isn’t internet a great tool?).
3- God is supplying our daily needs as we wait to move on into our new assignment at the NTM home office in Florida.
