BP in August 2014

August 14, 2014 by Theo and Martha Enns

Acronyms have many meanings. Our BP means Bibles and Paperwork :

See more pictures on the NTM Flipboard link.

We have been encouraged with how people have responded to our Creole Bible project for teachers in Haiti. NTM of Canada has helped us set up a special project account for donations that are specifically for this, at go.ntm.org/creole-bibles . (Americans that wish to get tax-deductible receipts, please see the PS below.) By the way, another Internet site with lots of pictures of tribal missions around the world can be seen at: http://flip.it/f5f8t – a site produced by New Tribes Mission.

Many of you ask, “Have you heard any news yet?” Not recently, and it has been almost 3 months since I originally applied for the paperwork that will allow us to retain our residency here in the States, while we work on this Bible curriculum project in Haiti. So next week, I will ask if we can get special permission to return to Haiti by the end of September. We covet your specific prayers for the Lord’s timing in all of this.

Yes, there are many aspects of our Haiti ministry that still keep us busy while we wait. And we also look forward to a week of R&R this month yet.

Continue to pray with us for:

–         Bibles for every classroom in the 350 BHM church-schools.

–         Paperwork for our soon return to Haiti.

–         For development of the teacher’s manual and student workbook for 3rd grade.

Praise the Lord with us that:

–         We can still progress on our projects for Haiti, while in Alabama.

–         God encourages us through ministry partners, like you, who uphold us in prayer.

–         God is building His church in Haiti, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Reaching the school children of Haiti,
