Stopped in our Tracks

September 26, 2009 by Tom

dsc_03162As many of you already know, just recently we found out that Cambodia has become a closed door for our family. This was shocking news to us, obviously, and its taken some time to process through. We have several options on the table that we are currently looking into.

For certain, we are still committed to going overseas and seeing the unreached reached with the good news of grace.

Though this has been the hardest thing we have had to face as a family, it has caused us to re-examine our core values, as well as our expectations for our future work overseas. It has also caused us to refocus our commitment to seeing the unreached people reached, and even used to draw us into deeper dependance on Him. Because of this, we feel grateful for this experience.

“Sometimes God has to turn our world upside down in order to turn our value system right side up.” -Mike Sullivan

To be continued…

Did You Know?

Mexico is home to over 130 million people. While Mexico is the world’s most populous Spanish-speaking country, you may find it surprising to learn that Mexico’s indigenous groups speak over 364 variations of 68 different languages!
