We are happily settling back into a routine at home after our trips to the sunny warmth of Arizona and the snowy woods of Canada. This time of year the weather was just about as opposite as it can get!
Included is just a quick update on our partnership/support level progress as well as our health journey.
It’s surreal to be currently sitting at 73% of our partnership goal! Thank you all for your desire to be part of what God’s doing through us and in Asia-Pacific: reaching those who have no chance of hearing who God is and what He has done. We are very close to hitting our goal of 75% and being able to buy tickets to leave in March.
As many of you know, I (Tyler) have been dealing with Lyme disease for the past 5-6 years. Most recently I have been doing a treatment that was supposed to take roughly 6 months… but it’s now been 13 months and we haven’t seen much progress. Knowing this was a possibility, we went ahead and made an appointment 6 months ago with another Lyme doctor in Wisconsin (since they book so far out). That appointment is scheduled for the second week in December. We are praying that it will really provide some help before going overseas. Would you join us in praying for this visit?
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me over the years. Your prayers have not gone unanswered. We have learned a lot through this journey and can trust that God is working it all together for good and that this must be what’s best right now. We hope that this appointment will help but ultimately it’s still up to Him and we like it that way. His way is always best!
