The hardest part of missionary life is being away from friends and family. We are so thankful for this time in the US. In August we were able to help Abby get settled into college life. She is thoroughly enjoying her time at Calvary University. She has been blessed with many new friends, and her siblings nearby continue to bless her in many ways. God provided her with a job that is only a 7 minute drive away and people who allow her to use their car.
Walter was able to help his sister sell her house in September and is helping prepare his mother’s house to sell this fall.
But our exciting news is we are going to Africa. It has always been difficult to get Walter’s siblings all together with everyone’s schedules, but it is harder since we are missionaries in the Philippines and Walter’s brother is a missionary in Botswana, Africa. One of my sisters is not able to go but Walter’s mother is paying for the rest of us to have a family reunion over there. We will get to see where they serve and take us on a few adventures as well.
We do have a couple meetings scheduled, but pray for wisdom as we contact individuals and churches. We would love to see you! We do enjoy seeing everyone and catching up, but scheduling is a slow process. Pray that we will use our time wisely.
We have enjoyed being here in Rose Hill. We enjoy fellowshipping at our home church. Walter has taught children church and both of us help with AWANA.
Please email us or call us! We would love to hear from you!
In Christ,
