God’s Blessings

December was a special time for our family. We were all together celebrating Juliana and Devin’s wedding on December 15 in Kansas. It was a fun day, full of memories and honoring our Heavenly Father. We are blessed with such a wonderful family, as well as our extended family and friends who celebrated with us. God blessed us with beautiful weather as well.

We were able to hang out in my parents’ house during the wedding as we still were not able to be in our house. For the Christmas holiday, we were able to be in our house, in spite of the unfinished condition. We all enjoyed being together and building special memories, especially with our 3 young grandchildren. We praise God that the job on our house was finally finished in February. Thankfully, the insurance took care of most of the bill. We are blessed to have a renovated kitchen and some additional changes that we had hoped to do someday.

God has blessed us with many partners in this life. We have spent many miles on the road seeing churches, friends and family that support us in prayer and financially as well as new partners. In January, we visited family and a new church in Texas. In February, we made a three-week trip to Florida and the east coast, visiting friends and family. In March, we were able to speak at three churches, including a trip to Kentucky to see the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter with our parents and Ashley. We cherish those times of blessings. We are currently on a two-week trip to various states, sharing with more friends and churches.

We are sensing God making changes in our ministry and are seeking God’s guidance as to our specific ministry as we have a few options. God continues to challenge us as we read Experiencing God, by Henry Blackaby.
