Thank you for your continued prayer support. Life is beginning to settle down, but it is not slowing down. Walter loves teaching his classes, but since they are new classes to him, the preparation and grading time take a lot longer. He was hoping things would get easier; instead he is just setting boundaries. Middle school students energize him, so we are doing fine.

Walter helps with Student Senate, which was heavily involved in Friendship week. Students and staff enjoy dressing up each day according to a theme. The students on senate planned games and activities and judged the costumes each day.
We lost our boarding home administrator at the beginning of the school year, so the Deputy Head of School took on that hat as well. To prevent him from being burned out, they asked Walter to take some of the duties of the Deputy Head of School. A full time teacher has five classes, but he only has three. So with three classes and the new administrative jobs, Walter is full time now.

With the many changes in staffing and the shortage of staffing next year, Walter has agreed to be the Deputy Head of School for the 20-21 school year, but we are still praying for wisdom if that is where God is leading us long term.
We are enjoying being empty nesters, calling our family in the US and Brazil and enjoying our date nights. Once a week, we join two other couples to play some games and pray.
During our home assignment year, we read the book Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. This year we are doing the video series and workbook as a couple. It has been good to talk as a couple about what God is teaching us.
Lastly, please pray with us that we will get good renters in our house in the US soon. Also pray for the health of staff and students at Faith Academy. Many are sick with the flu and some have dengue fever.
Thank you for praying for us,
Walter and Cheryl
