This week we’ve entered a new stage of preparation to serving in Papua New Guinea! Monday was Bill’s last day of work at his old job at PDS. The Lord used that job to provide for over 15 years! While Bill may elaborate more on his feelings in a future post, we now change gears as we’re working full time to get our house ready to sell, pack up what’s left of our belongings (and get rid of a lot), and seek out those partners who will pray and support us as we go!
I (Katie) have been pricing out school books for the next four years, planning what we’ll need for four growing kids living on the other side of the world (they’re going to need new shoes sometime in the next four years, won’t they), and trying to figure out how much room those things will take up in our luggage!
Bill has been sending out e-mails and getting in touch with churches and individuals we’d love to share our ministry with!
The kids — they’re busy being kids!
Our goal is to be at our recommended support level in October. October! That’s not far away. We’d love to be able to arrive in Papua New Guinea in January, so please pray for great meetings in the upcoming weeks. The Lord always amazes us with his provision when and where we’re not expecting it, and we’re excited for the coming weeks and months. If you’d like to meet with us to hear more about our ministry, let us know!
