Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made knows to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
With thanksgiving! What a wonderful reminder in this verse. As we celebrate another Thanksgiving Day in the U.S., we have much to be thankful for. We have a warm home to live in. We have easy access to nourishing food. We have health and safety. We have the Bible, in our very own “heart” language. In fact, we have more copies of the Bible in our home than we have people who actually know how to read in our home (we’re up to three readers, by the way).
And while we’re thankful for these things, we also want to remember and pray for the more than 2,500 people groups in the world who have never heard the gospel of Christ. Those people — men, women, and children– live each day not knowing that the God of heaven has already sent his son, Jesus, to pay for their sins. They don’t know that God loves them and wants to give them hope and a future. They don’t have a Bible in their own language.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving Day, please join us in prayer for more missionaries, as Luke 10:2 says, “Then He said to them, ‘The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'”

Well said, we have the Word of God in our heart language, when so many do not. How can we say no when the God of the universe has asked us to go? Go ye therefore and make disciples. Thanks for posting and thanks for being willing to go.
