Brian and his friends were tried and tested on the first of December as they decided to remain faithful to their commitment to swim in the lake once every month.
In front of all the men and women present, he stood up to talk and began crying as he shared how he was seeing how sinful he was! With tears coming to our eyes as well, we sat there marveling at the convicting power of the Holy Spirit through the truth of the Word of God.
“So what do I do to pay for my sins, do I have to kill a bird or something?” I would have expected to hear this question from a man deep in the jungle, but not from this guy!
We drove our car home from the dealership last night and didn’t pay a penny for the repairs. They went way above and beyond what they needed to and basically sent us home with everything under the hood either new or in new condition.
They pulled our freshly washed and vacuumed car into the carport, handed us the key, and said, “You owe us nothing, we’re paying for this one, enjoy!” We drove home with huge smiles on our faces and were speechless before a God who knows and demonstrates what an unconditional gift looks like.
