We’re chillin in Alaska this morning. We flew in to Anchorage Thursday night, May 12, and we’ll fly back Wednesday night, May 18. We enjoyed a couple days with some good friends that live near Anchorage and then we drove to where Chris grew up, Glennallen. Sunday morning we shared about our ministry in Church and visited with a million people that remembered Chris as a wee little lad. He said he was more excited and more nervous sharing in his home church than any other church we had visited. It went very well though. We’ll be hanging out here in Glennallen for a few days visiting with people before heading back home. Pray for Mitch and Jackie who have our kids until we get back!
By the way, we’ve seen 3 moose and one porcupine so far. No caribou or bear yet. We’ve had gorgeous weather and the sun shining upon the snow-capped mountains is beautiful.
At the end of this month Chris’ siblings will be traveling to Minnesota and his whole family will be together for the first time in 2.5 years. We’re pretty excited for the ‘reunion’.
Thanks for all your prayers and support. Please be praying for safe travels for us back to MN.
