Easter Morning

April 3, 2013 by Darryl and Becky Jordan

Here the people celebrate the “Reunion of Mary and Jesus” on Easter Morning. They have 2 statues on floats in various parts of the city. Mary is shrouded and is suppose to be in mourning. People pull these floats and they eventually meet at the cathedral. The key player seems to be Mary. When they are reunited, the “angels” sing, her shroud is removed, the people cheer and the statues are carried into the cathedral.

For our part we are awed and grateful that we have and serve a risen Savior. We hope and pray that many might understand and be converted while there is still time. Please pray that in this very religious nation, people might come to a knowledge of the truth.
