Thank you so much for your continued prayers for Tyndale! Praise the Lord, he has managed to stay healthy (other than a very mild cold a week or so ago) for this whole month while he has been on steroid treatments. The plan is for him to finish his course of steroids on Feb. 14 and have a follow-up appointment with the immunologist in Singapore on Feb. 16. So far he is still free of HSP symptoms too. Please pray that they won’t come back after he finishes the treatments.

Tomorrow we plan to leave for a week of diagnostic testing and education information in Thailand. We are very thankful that the Lord has provided this opportunity for all 3 of our children to be tested for their learning differences at a fraction of the normal cost. Please pray for a good time and helpful direction for their schooling from here on out. On the way back from this trip we plan to stop in Singapore for Tyndale’s doctor appointment, and then arrive back here on Feb. 17.

In the last 3 days before this trip, I (Jennifer) have taught 2 kick-offs to get one of our groups going in the second half of stage 2 and another into the second half of stage 1 in their studies. Our co-worker Lincoln is team-teaching with me now, which is such a blessing! The week after we get back from our trip, Lincoln and I will be giving 3 stage 2 evaluations and a stage 3 kick-off.

As we’ve gotten into the heart of rainy season here, DJ has been coordinating the maintenance workers as they go from house to house fixing roof leaks. They have some other work projects going as well, but every time a new leak is discovered, they have to drop everything and go take care of that before it becomes a bigger problem. House roofs here are made from clay tiles which are prone to cracking and sliding. Sometimes it takes a hard rain to discover where all the leaks are.

Thanks again so very much for your prayers, concern, and care for our family.
