Thank you for praying for us over the past couple months. This month DJ traveled to Florida for 5 days to attend annual team meetings with the rest of the IT team at our organization’s home office. He & his team have been staying busy keeping the network running smoothly at the home office and the missionary training centers.

The week before DJ went to Florida, Jennifer helped from afar with evaluations for a team learning a remote language on the island where we used to serve. This involved several days of listening to recordings in the remote language along with translations into the national language (collected and sent by an amazing coworker who traveled all the way from another island), determining what level of proficiency each team member has reached, writing evaluation reports, and meeting back with the team to share results and recommendations. Three team members were evaluated this time, and it was very encouraging to see how far they’ve each come in their proficiency. For one of them, this was her last language evaluation as she has reached the level she needs to reach to start working on Bible translation!

Areli continues to love nursing school and has good friends in the dorm at her community college. Once she finishes this semester, she’ll have one year left to become a registered nurse. DJ and Galilee have started planting the garden, and Galilee has been busy planting and tending other trees and bushes around the place as well. Tyndale is currently busy with frequent trips for FFA (agricultural) competitions and track meets. He will finish his junior year of high school in May.

Jennifer has been helping with testing for a digital application to aid language and culture learning, which the CLA Development Team and programmers have been working on for several years now. It looks like it is going to be a very helpful tool for missionaries to use when learning languages and cultures in their fields of service.

Thank you all again for your prayers and support. They are greatly appreciated.
