With Missionary Technology going into its third week, our labs have changed. I started off teaching them how to solder using both DC and AC. Now the labs have changed to give each student a good over view of a complete off grid solar electric system. The Labs are broken up into 6 classes. At the end of the last Lab, each student has basically installed and wired their off grid house.
Each day I am going to emphasize one of the classes so you can see how we are training our students here at the MTC.
PV RACK INSTALLATION
In the PV Rack Install we teach the students how to safely install a racking system that we build. This racking system will adjust to about any slope roof and can mount to just about any roof type. A couple of the best things is that it is simple to install, can withstand high winds and can fit many sizes of panels. On the field this racking system can be installed in about 2 hours, with a drill, driver and hand tools.

Glenda Farrington says
DEAR ERNEST AND TINA,
WHAT A GREAT JOB DONE! IT IS REALLY NICE TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT FOR YOUR CLASSES. IT WAS GOOD TO TALK TO TINA LAST WEEK. GREAT TO HEAR THAT YOU ARE COMING BACK TO CAMP BEREA THIS SUMMER. THE CAMPERS ARE SURELY FORTUNATE TO GET TO MEET MISSIONARIES FIRST HAND FOR A WHOLE WEEK. I KNOW OF MANY WHO HAVE GONE INTO MISSIONS BECAUSE OF THEIR EXPERIENCE AT CAMP. THE LORD IS BEING BLESSED THROUGH YOUR WORK FOR HIM AS I’M SURE HE IS BLESING YOU.
IN CHRIST,
GLENDA
