Rotating Labs Part Two

Last post I emphasized the PV Rack Installation that we build for missionaries.  This time we are going to look at how to wire those PV panels.

PV WIRING

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the PV Wiring lab we teach the students how to series and parallel wire PV panels.  After the PV panels are mounted to your roof, they need to be wired in such a way to get the most out of them.  Most of the time we series wire two panels and then parallel three strings of those.  Once these are all wired they need to come into a combiner box, that sends the power inside the house to the PV Controllers (that we will talk about next).  As you can see in the pictures we use mock up panels to show this procedure.
