BEKA

MAY 2008

This is Beka’s month! She graduates with high honors, 6th in a class of 669, from the International Baccalaureate program from DeLand High School. Her Commencement exercises will be at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Friday May 23 at 7 pm. We welcome you to come.

What a blessing Beka has been. God has given her some amazing abilities, and she desires to use them for HIM. She has maintained such a great testimony all through her school years, and has been a faithful witness of the Gospel. We are so blessed with her positive attitude and her work ethic-she always gives 100%.

Her work with the Youth group is tireless, and her smile and warm welcome such an encouragement to all who come. She has led the singing, and is always careful to introduce each song with a verse of Scripture. She is excited to help in any way she can with the Youth Group. Actually she is the one who wanted to start it up!

She has written 12 songs in the last year or so. They are great! She is seeking a copyright on them, and trying to finalize writing the music score for them for the copyright. Perhaps recording them is in her future also!

Beka’s future plans are to go to New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI this August. She already has a coaching job lined up at the local YMCA in Waukesha. She is very excited to go and learn more of God’s word in the context of the Bible Institute. She is looking forward to meeting new friends and old during her time there.

We are praying that God will direct her and use her in a mighty way!
