Greetings from our busy home in Deltona! The activities continue to fill up our calendar, and we actively look for ways to care out time together as a family. This last weekend, some friends from South Carolina are took their family to Sea World were able to join them. That was a great family time! It was very hot and we did LOTS of walking!
Now, we have two weekends until Graduation! Wow! Beka is excited, and will feel a lot better after her exams are all over. Classes ended last week, but now she has large papers, and exams to finish before she is done. See her on our website, too.
David is looking forward to getting his driver’s permit soon, then he will be driving Mom around, and getting used to the feel of the wheel! He will be looking at schooling on the Florida Virtual School for next Fall, and hope that will be a great opportunity for educational growth. He may take some dual enrollment at the Daytona Beach Community College which has a branch near us.
Tim is looking forward to summer. He has really enjoyed school this year and says it has been his best ever. He will surely miss his friends. He has been a big help in our work on the storage sheds we have built, and is growing in wisdom and stature. (Mom is officially the shortest in the family!)
We are continuing in ministry to our NTM family. Helping members in times of transitions keeps us busy. We trust the Lord for sensitivity as we help these folks through the changes that the Lord is allowing them to face. We also continue to minister to the MK’s here at the Home Offices, and their friends. We still average 40 kids each week at the Youth Group, and are excited to see them grasping God’s word and applying it to their lives. It is fun to see them grow and see God working.
Thank you for your prayer support for our ministry. We are thankful to be allowed of God to be in this ministry, and are thankful YOU are a part of our team, also.
Joyfully His,
George and Linda Heckman
