Warm(!) greetings from Sunny (and rainy) Central Florida!
We are so thankful for the FAITHFULNESS of our God! He is so good to us; strengthening and caring for His children! Thank you for praying for us, and dropping us a note last month. It was very encouraging to hear from many of you.
We continue in helping care for Mom and Dad Heckman. We take one weekend a month to stay home and try to catch up on things that need to be done here. We are very encouraged with Dad’s progress, and usually Mom is in good spirits.
Beka and Cody came for a visit in July and everyone enjoyed getting to see them, and their cute little Abi! He is 5 months old now, and has several teeth! He most always has a happy smile. He mimics everything, and is a quick learner.
Amelia (Tim’s little gal) is almost a year old already! (August 4). Our next grandbaby, (David and Joice’s) is due in November!
We enjoy seeing Brett and Debby and their kiddos almost every weekend on our way to S. Florida and back. There is always lots of energy in that household!
Amy and Hector are doing well in Mexico. They recently returned to Chihuahua from
El Paso where they filled in at the Guest House for 3 weeks. Their AC died on their truck recently and that was a big unexpected expense. God will provide!
Benjamin turned 4 this month! Oh MY!!! I do not know where the time flies! He is a happy boy!
News From PNG: Our missionaries wrote: “God’s story is being taught to the Kaje people in their language for the 1st time ever! That’s right! Let’s pray for the three helping prepare the lessons to be used later this year: Mbinge, Jepun, and Nggomo. They will be the first Kaje to hear the gospel. They have each heard up thru Gen. 5.” The next week they head and helped writing the story of Noah with us in their language. THANK YOU for praying as God’s word goes out to those who have never heard before!
As I mentioned before, we LOVED hearing from you this last month! It was such an encouragement. This month, if you could, drop us a note to let us know if you are praying for us. That would be super encouraging as well! We appreciate you all so much! Thanks for being on the team to with us take the Gospel to those without!
