Look-we have a Surprise!!!
Hello from Florida!
We had a wonderful little surprise on October 9! Peter James Heckman came a bit early. He was expected October 30, but came early to say “HI!” Here is the little cutie! All bundled up and then “catching some rays” to help his jaundice a bit. He was 7# 1.2 oz and over 19” tall. Born October 9, 2019. Mom and Dad are doing fine. New adjustments with a little person around! Thanks for praying for them!
Last weekend, we went with a couple of dear friends from church, to the 5th annual missions conference at Calvary Community Church. What a blessing to be there and represent Ethnos360 and our ministries to the dear folks there. Their theme this year was, “The Missionary is Necessary.” We were encouraged and refreshed! If you would ever like us to come and share at your church or small group, just “give us a holler!” We’d love to come.
A week ago, we left Mom and Dad Heckman’s after spending 4 days with them. Mom ended up in the hospital that evening with some issues. She is still there. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, and the correct medications for mom. Today (the 22) is their 64th anniversary! Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!
We will be travelling October 24-31 and go North to Michigan, in order to close up the house for the winter.
Looking ahead, November seems like it might be a little less stressful, maybe! Just one funeral of a dear friend, and Thanksgiving; plus our normal travels to South Florida. Amy and Hector plan to be able to head back to Mexico in November-after his passport arrives. It has been so much fun having them with us again, since August.
Time has gone so quickly this year. We’d like to slow down a bit, but don’t see that happening any time soon. Thank you for praying for us as we try to keep up with our responsibilities, and family. God is our STRENGTH! Our trust is in HIM.
As always, we love to hear from you. We’d love to share in praying for you – just let us know your requests.
Many Blessings,
George & Linda Heckman
