Well it’s the end of May and we are down to one last appointment on Monday. No more appointments until July-hooray!!
Don’t get me wrong, the doctors & PT & prosthetics folks have been great. Really impressed by them all! But it will be SO nice to get back to a “normal” life again.
We feel for those who are constantly in & out of the hospital. If you know of someone who has to do that, please encourage them you guys!! It gets old fast.
Jon was given a loaner C– leg (a micro processor leg) to take home until we hear from the insurance company. Jon spent yesterday getting it tweaked & programmed. Then he took it home & walked all around the house. Jace was so curious about it all & sat with his Daddy asking all kinds of questions.
What’s next for our family? We head back to the farm next week, we have a churches we will visit & Jon will start working on getting his flight medical & then flight training Lord-willing very soon.
We are headed to Osh Kosh for the week long Air show event this year to help at the NTMA booth in July. If you are there please come by & see us, we’d love to meet you!
Thank you all SO much for praying for strength & endurance for our family!! Some days are harder then others. We in no way can do this on our own, we NEED God’s help to take each day as it comes.
God only gives what He sees is for our best. Pray we can rest in that fact.
“A person can receive only what is given them from heaven…He must become greater; I must become less. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. (John 3:27, 30, 35 NIV)”
