Answered Prayer: Solar Importation

A few days ago, we sent out a request for Urgent Prayer. In short: our solar equipment was being held up at the border in a growing pile of red tape, and that with our solar team already having purchased their flight tickets for later this month! What’s more, one missionary friend who had volunteered his time to try to help found that he couldn’t re-enter Mexico with his vehicle… not only leaving him unable to help directly, but also hindered in his return to ministry in Chihuahua.

God has done an awful lot this past week! An update:

• Several friends and coworkers have gone above and beyond to work on this problem, finding creative and workable options to properly import this equipment within the available time frame.
• 60% of our equipment is now in Mexico, unless another 20% has come through since I’ve last heard (which is possible).
• Plans exist to get the final 20% imported, and then to get all of it from a border town down to Chihuahua. Everything is in place for this to happen.
• The plane delivering all of the equipment (less a chest freezer which is not needed until later) is scheduled to come out here shortly after everything arrives in Chihuahua!

In short: God has gotten this done. Through the tireless efforts of a few good friends, the help of a border town church for short-term storage, and His provision of a handful of critical details falling into place… He has worked it all out!

Thank you so much for praying, and encouraging us as we waited to see how God would work at this time. Join us in praising God for His faithfulness, proven yet again, and this time in exactly the way we hoped He would do so! Our gratitude to those friends – John, Torre, Michael, Paty, Don, and Hector – is also great, and we are so blessed to have such brothers and sisters working alongside us in service to our King.
