Hey all – many of you have heard of the developing security situation in México. The leader of one of the more prominent cartels was confirmed dead after national operations, resulting in widespread unrest and disruptions. News on this issue has spread widely, and several of you have reached out to ask how we are impacted by this development.
To the moment, the state of Chihuahua – along with the majority of places where our ministry operates in México – has been largely unaffected by these events. We remain vigilant and are keeping a close eye on developments, but our family and mission facilities are not currently at a higher degree of known risk.
Do keep our remote coworkers in prayer. Our support teams continue looking out for their safety, and many (if not all) seem to be in good circumstances. However, many indigenous and national Mexicans – as well as missionaries from other organizations – are experiencing fear and violence. Please join us in interceding for them at this time, and trusting our faithful Father to work even this for His good.
Jordan and family,
It was so good to hear that you are not suffering from this outlash of violence, but we continue to pray for the local people who have lost business or suffered loss of family during the clashes with military. Also lifting up the missionaries there. Much much love
Thank you for the update we’ve been praying for your family’s safety!!
Thank YOU!
Prayers for the teams and organizations under severe duress and uncertainty. It is encouraging to hear y’all are in a good place at this time.
Thank you, Father!
We are grateful too!
Praying for your family’s safety as well as all missionaries in Mexico as unrest continues. May God put a hedge of protection around each one of you.
Thank you, Paula.
We join in prayer for protection over you, your family, and all who may be in harms way. May God watch over you, as we trust His provision and Care!
Amen!
Praying for safety of all in harms way and for quick resolution to the unrest.
Thank you, Donna!
